Breeding Shed Policies and Forms
Due to the recent outbreaks of Equine Herpes Virus infections at racetracks and training centers, veterinarians have advised precautionary measures be taken for the 2008 breeding seasons.
Our veterinarian has requested that ALL MARES coming to the breeding shed must be vaccinated with 7-90 days before breeding for Equine Herpes Virus Type 1 (i.e. Rhinomune, Pneumabort-K, etc.)
A statement to this effect should be furnished by the boarding farm and accompany the mare to the breeding shed (this may be included on the culture certificate)
