Not This Time got his 48th lifetime stakes winner on Independence Day at Ellis Park when Troubleshooting flew through the stretch to win the $150,000 Dade Park Dash.
The 3-year-old colt, who was making his stakes debut in the 5 ½-furlong turf sprint, broke from the inside post in the field of seven. He settled nicely behind dueling frontrunners as they clicked off fractions of :22.12 and :44.51. Turning for home, Troubleshooting moved three-wide for clear running, then blew past the pacesetters to win going away by 2 ¼-lengths.
With the victory, Troubleshooting improved his record to 7-2-2-0 and increased his purse earnings to $219,427 for his owner/breeder Donamire Farm.
Troubleshooting is out of Into Trouble, winner of the Arlington-Washington Lassie at two.
Not This Time now has 10 stakes winners to date in 2025 and is in the top 10 on this year’s General Sire list with over $6.5 million in progeny earnings.
