White-hot sire Not This Time got his third stakes winner at Saratoga in the past four days on Aug. 28 when Final Score went gate-to-wire to win the With Anticipation S. (G3) by 4 ½-lengths.

The win comes just one day after Time to Dream took the P. G. Johnson S. and four days after Rhetorical won the West Point S. All three winners came on the turf.

Two-year-old Final Score, who was a front-running maiden winner on Aug. 10, duplicated that performance in Thursday’s 1 1/16-mile affair. He was allowed to set moderate fractions of :48.63 and 1:12.27, then had plenty left to pull away in the stretch and stop the timer in 1:41.75 on a firm turf.

“He’s a super-hot stallion. They seem to do everything: sprint, route, turf, dirt,” Pletcher said of Not This Time. “He’s a phenomenal stallion. He does a little bit of everything. We were fortunate to have success with Up to the Mark early on and we became fans of him early on.”

Owned by Repole Stable, Final Score in 2-1-0 in three starts and has earned $171.250. He was purchased by his owner for $600,000 at the 2024 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga sale.
