Not This Time had one of the stars of the second day of the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga sale on Tuesday evening when hip No. 227 sold for $3 million.
The price would ultimately be the third-highest of the day and fourth-highest for the two-day sale.
Consigned by Paramount Sales, agent for breeder Springhouse Farm, the colt went to the partnership of Winchell Thoroughbreds, White Birch Farm, and MV Magnier.
“Happy as you’ve ever seen me,” said Gabriel Duignan’s Springhouse. “He was absolutely beautiful. He was on all the lists. It’s hard to imagine you’d make that, but you knew there was a chance.”
The colt is out of Just Louise, who has produced multiple graded stakes winner Forbidden Kingdom and stakes-placed Bibi Dahl.
Not This Time’s stellar numbers at the sale finished with six lots sold for an average of $1.42 million.
