Not This Time filly soars to $1.9 million at Fasig-Tipton Saratoga opener

Hip 100, 2026 Saratoga Select Yearling Sale

Not This Time had the topped-price filly, at $1.9 million, during the Monday’s session of the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Yearling sale.

Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency for breeder Albaugh Grands Stables, the winning bidder for hip No. 100 was Japanese trainer Mitsu Nakauchida.

“It was a little bit more than what I expected, but the market is strong and Saratoga is such a good sale,” said Nakauchida of his biggest expenditure. “Everyone’s here, so you got to push very hard to secure a very good yearling.”

Out of Grade 3 winner and Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) third Girl Daddy, the bay filly is a full-sister to On Time Girl, winner of the Eight Belles S. (G2) and Forward Gal S (G3).

Not This Time’s three lots sold for an average of $1.058 million on Monday. The Taylor Made stallion has a total of five individuals to sell during Tuesday evening’s closing session that begins at 6:30 pm ET.
