FOREST DANGER SIRES HIS FIRST WINNER!
Grade 1 Winner, FOREST DANGER, sired his first winner when his son, RECESSION BUSTER won May 7th at Golden Gate Fields. Making his initial start, RECESSION BUSTER went right for the lead and won the 4 1/2 furlong race by 1 1/2 lengths in :47.79. Bred in Kentucky by Thorne & Varney, RECESSION BUSTER races for Philip Lebherz. RECESSION BUSTER is the first foal from the winning Thunder Gulch mare, FOREVER BERTIE, whose yearling colt is also by FOREST DANGER.

At the Fasig-Tipton Calder Sale, a 2YO colt by Grade 1 winner Forest Danger sold for $500,000, the highest price by ANY Freshman Sire in 2009, to Tom McGreevey, agent for Fox Hill Farm.
