Sharp Humor was a precocious Two-Year-Old who broke his maiden first time out in July at Belmont after a half in :44 and change.

Sharp Humor was a multiple Stakes winner at two, compiling a record of 3 wins and a third from five starts, and like Funny Cide, also by Distorted Humor, was named Champion Two-Year-Old Colt in New York.

Sharp Humor was a brilliant Three-Year-Old who won the Grade 2 Swale Stakes in 1:22 flat, the same time run by leading sire Mr. Greeley in the Swale. Other successful Sires who hold a win in the Swale on their resume include Seeking the Gold and Yes It’s True.

Sharp Humor was a Classic Contender at three. The runner-up to Barbaro in the $1,000,000 Grade 1 Florida Derby in his first start around two turns. In the Florida Derby, Sharp Humor posted a 102 Beyer Speed Figure and ran a BRIS Speed Figure identical to Barbaro’s figure in that race.

Half Ours was an undefeated Stakes winner at two and winner of the Grade 2 Richter Scale Breeders’ Cup Sprint Championship Handicap at Gulfstream Park in March of this year

Half Ours is by Taylor Made Stallion Unbridled’s Song who sold as a Two-Year-Old for a then record price of $1,400,000 . Out of the Storm Cat mare Zing who sold for $3,600,000 as the third highest-priced broodmare at the 2005 Keeneland November sale, Half Ours is a full-brother to a $1,700,000 weanling, the most expensive weanling sold at public auction in 2005. Offered as a racing prospect at the 2006 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale, Half Ours sold for $6,100,000 , the highest price ever paid for a horse in training sold at Keeneland.

Half Ours was an undefeated two year old who began his racing career brilliantly at Keeneland where he broke his maiden by 10 ¾ lengths over Maiden Special Weight company. Three weeks later, he won the Juvenile Stakes at Churchill Downs (formerly the WHAS Stakes) on Kentucky Derby Day by an effortless 4 ¼ lengths, establishing a new Stakes record.

Half Ours won the Grade 2 Richter Scale Breeders’ Cup Sprint Championship Handicap at Gulfstream Park after blistering internal fractions of :21 3/5 and :43 3/5.

Half Ours won by an average winning margin of over 4 lengths during his racing career.
