Well Heeled's impressive turn of foot on the turn took the 2-year-old Unbridled's Song filly into the winner's circle in her racing debut Dec. 1 at Aqueduct (VIDEO).

With one month to go in 2012, Unbridled's Song has had another year filled with highlights. His seven stakes winners have led the way to progeny earnings of $5,362,086 to date. Leading the way this year is Emcee, winner of the Grade 1 Forego S. Taylor Made recently announced Unbridled's Song's stud fee for 2013 at $60,000 LFS&N.

With a burst from the gate, Well Heeled controlled the pace of the six furlong contest from the outset. Up a half length after a quarter mile, the dark bay filly spurted clear by four lengths on the turn, then coasted home a length and a half winner in 1:11.73.

Well Heeled is out of the Salt Lake mare High Heeled Hope, winner of the Maker's Mark S. and Indian Summer S. She also placed in the Las Virgenes S. (G1) and Hollywood Starlet (G1). High Heeled Hope is the dam of Endine S. (G3) winner Sweet Hope.

Bred in Kentucky by Castleton Lyons and Kilboy Estate, Well Heeled sold for $170,000 this May at the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic sale.
