Glamorista left no doubt as to who was best in this six furlong maiden contest July 4 at Hollywood Park as the 4-year-old daughter of Unbridled's Song whistled through the three-quarters of a mile in 1:09.73. The 6 1/4-length romp was as easy as it appeared and earned a eye-catching Beyer Speed Figure of 95 (VIDEO).

The strapping bay filly was bred in Kentucky by Gulf Coast Farms LLC and Pollock Farms. She is trained by Bob Baffert for Thoroughbred Legends Racing Stable.

Glamorista was a $325,000 purchase at the 2008 Keeneland September yearling sale, where she was consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency and bought by her current owner.

Out of the Dr. Blum mare Critical Crew, Glamorista is a half-sister to millionaire and multiple Grade 1 winner Critical Eye.

Unbridled's Song finished 2010 with 21 stakes horses, and is almost certain to top that total this year with a figure of 18 through just the first six months of 2011.
