One of the last horses to go through the ring at the Mar. 22 Barretts 2-year-old sale turned out to bring the highest price of the one-day event. The gray or roan colt by Unbridled's Song went for $475,000 to buyer Narvick International.

Cataloged as Hip No. 130 of 135 in the sale, the powerfully built colt had worked 1/8 of a mile in a ultra-sharp :10 seconds flat at the under tack preview show on Mar. 19. Click here for the video of the work.

The colt is the second foal out of King Shooting Star, and comes from the extended family of Gold Beauty, Dayjur, Maplejinsky, Sky Beauty, and Tale of Ekati.
