Graydar, whose first foals are weanlings of 2015, had a pair of colts sell for $185,000 during Wednesday’s session of the Nov. 2-13 Keeneland November sale.

Graydar, a three-time graded stakes winner during his brilliant 4-year-old season, will stand the 2016 season at Taylor Made for $15,000 live foal.

The stallion’s first foal to bring six figures on Wednesday was hip No. 591, which was consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency. Cavalier Bloodstock was the winning bidder for the gray colt, whose dam Fiery Pulpit is also the dam of stakes-placed Dypsy. Fiery Pulpit is a sister to six black type horses, including Grade 3 winner Clamorosa.

Later in the session hip No. 632, consigned by Scott Mallory, brought an identical winning bid fro McMahon and Hill Bloodstock. The gray juvenile is out of the Ghostzapper mare Heavenly Ghost, as sister to graded stakes winners Dilemma and Heavenly Ranson, as well as the multiple stakes winner and Grade 2-placed Capitano.
