Platinum Power rolled to a seven length maiden victory on Sept. 29, giving his sire Half Ours his eleventh winner in his first crop. That number is third-best among all freshman sires, and with nearly $300,000 in progeny earnings, Half Ours is also in the top 10 in that category.

The dark bay New York bred had little trouble in the 4 1/2-furlong contest at Charles Town, dictating the pace from the outset and drawing off in the stretch.

Platinum Power is out of the unraced mare Eastern Exposure, who's dam Northern Emerald won or placed in eight graded stakes, topped by her victory in the Grade 1 Flower Bowl Invitational H. at Belmont Park.
