Taylor Made stallion Forestry, with 36 total stakes winners to date, will certainly add to that total in 2010 with a crop of 98 juveniles from some of the best families in racing.

The group includes a chestnut colt out of Oatsee, by Unbridled, is a half-brother to the top-class mare Lady Joanne. She earned just shy of $1 million, with wins in the Alabama S. (G1) and two other graded stakes. Another sibling from this prolific mare is Baghdaria, winner of a trio of Grade 3 events.

Another duo in the group are three-quarter siblings to a pair of Grade 1 winners in My Trusty Cat and Good Reward. My Trusty Cat was a stakes winner in four consecutive campaigns, capped by her win in the Humana Distaff (G1) at age five. Good Reward was a two-time Grade 1 winner on the turf and is out of the champion mare Heavenly Prize.

A full sibling to Discreet Cat, winner of the Cigar Mile (G1) and UAE Derby (G2), will garner plenty of attention when the 2-year-old racing season is in gear. Likewise for the half to Riboletta, the Brazilian bred mare who was U. S. champion older mare in 2000. A winning machine, Riboletta annexed eight graded stakes and won $1.55 million in her stellar career.

An interesting addition to the crop is a half-sister to the sire Albert the Great, out of Bright Feather. Albert the Great won more than $3 million in a career that saw him beat older horses in the Jockey Club Gold Cup (G1) at age three, then come back and win the Suburban H. (G2) and Brooklyn H. (G2) the following year. The two-year-old filly was purchased by Seth Hancock at the 2009 Keeneland September yearling sale.

These are just a few of the foals by Forestry to look for in 2010, with many more in the crop likely to make headlines in the coming months.
