Stolen Victory romped to a 14 ¾-length win on New Year’s Day, one of two maiden special weight winners in the first three days of 2015 for Eskendereya. The Taylor Made stallion wrapped up 2014 in the top 15 on the First-crop Sire list, led by the Grade 2 filly Isabella Sings.

Jan. 1 at Aqueduct, Stolen Victory separated herself from the field about half-way through the one mile and 70 yard affair, drawing off to win as she pleased.

Bred by Bortolazzo Stable, Stolen Victory is the second foal out of Stolen Humor, a daughter of multiple stakes winner Clamorosa.

Two days later at Santa Anita, Mio Me stormed home late on the 6 1/2-furlong downhill turf course secure a neck victory in 1:14.10, giving the Woodford Thoroughbred filly her first win in her second career outing. The well-bred filly is out of the two-time stakes winner Missile Bay. Mio Me sold to Woodford for $130,000 at the 2013 Keeneland September Yearling sale.
