A colt from the first crop of millionaire Daddy Long Legs worked a quarter-mile in :20 3/5 Thursday, the fastest move at the distance, at the Under Tack show in preparation for the April 23-26 OBS Spring Sale of 2-year-olds in Training [WATCH BREEZE].

Cataloged as hip No. 647 and consigned by Costal Equine, the chestnut colt is scheduled to sell on Thursday.

"My family has been training horses over this track for nearly 20 years and have developed a lot of nice horses,” said Jesse Hoppel of Coastal Equine. “Every once in awhile a horse will truly stands out and this colt is training like one of those rare standouts. He’s as fast as any horse we’ve ever had here and just does everything the right way."

(See Hoppel's full comments here.)

The colt is the second foal out of the Old Fashioned mare Snow Fashion. His second dam Snow Mass was a stakes winner, along with two of her siblings.

Daddy Long Legs' first lot offered in the sale will be hip No. 501 on Wednesday. The filly zipped through a furlong in :10 1/5 seconds in her preview work. Consigned by Ocala Bloodstock, her dam Rockin Mandy is a half-sister to multiple graded winner The Judge Sez Who.
