California Chrome, racing's all-time leading money earner, was one of 14 horses pre-entered for this year's Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) to be run Saturday, Nov. 5 at Santa Anita Park. The entries in the 1 1/4-mile test include five horses cross-entered in other Breeders' Cup races.

California Chrome, who will join the Taylor Made stallion roster upon his retirement, will try to finish off what has so far been a perfect 2016 with wins in the Dubai World Cup, Pacific Classic and Awesome Again S., all Grade 1 events, as well as Grade 2 races San Diego H. and San Pasqual S.

Besides California Chrome, the 2016 Classic features runaway Travers S.
