Troubled Charlie had little issue dispatching a field of fellow 2-year-olds in his a 4 1/4-length allowance victory Nov. 13 at Mountaineer Park, drawing off in the stretch for a comfortable win.

Troubled Charlie is the third repeat winner for Astrology, who ranks in the top 10 on the 2016 Freshman Sire list in the category, as well as by stakes horses and winners.

The winner is owned by Tommy Short (also his trainer) and Robert Heyer and was bred in Kentucky by Scott and Debbie Pierce. The bay colt is the second foal out of the two-time stakes winner Sweetlalabye and is from the same family as Grade 1 winner Supah Gem.
